Southern Sweden Design Days
Southern Sweden Design Days is an annual design festival in Malmö that highlights and builds knowledge about design – focusing on sustainability, collaboration, development and innovation. For four days, a platform is created showcasing a full range of design disciplines through exhibitions, seminars, workshops and networking events. Arranged by Form/Design Center.
SPOK is a production platform that aims to gather and spread knowledge about local manufacturing possibilities ranging from handicrafts to industries. SPOK aims to promote the development of local production in Sweden and in the long term also more–local consumption. SPOK is run with Form/Design Center as principal.
Fiber Land is an initiative run by the County Administrative Board (Länsstyrelsen) of Skåne together with STPLN in Malmö and Jenny Nordberg Design Studio. The aim is to contribute to the three fibers hemp, flax and wool being seen as commercial alternatives to resource–demanding fibers such as cotton and synthetic materials. This is accomplished by creating new business connections between Skåne–based primary producers of the three fibers and different types of end customers.
